Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme for Engineering Students at IMS Engineering College

The Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) for Engineering Students at IMS Engineering College was organized to encourage future engineers to explore entrepreneurship as a career and transform innovative technical ideas into successful startups. The programme aimed to develop an entrepreneurial mindset by helping students understand how engineering knowledge can be leveraged to solve real-world problems through innovation and technology-driven enterprises. The session focused on key areas such as innovation and product development, technology commercialization, startup ideation, business model creation, intellectual property rights (IPR), prototype development, funding opportunities, digital transformation, and government initiatives supporting technology startups. Students were introduced to the startup ecosystem and the essential skills required to build scalable and sustainable technology-based businesses.
